This war had been something Sunhilde had seen when she was merely a child sitting in her father’s lap as he told her stories. She had asked him what the flames and the cries had meant and he had told her that she’d never have to worry about it. He claimed that she was seeing visions of a war that would happen long after her time. But her father was wrong, he had been wrong about many things. He had told her that he would return for her when she had been whisked away by Asgardian guards for her own safety. But he never did; he had died.
